*** Prints! ***

Hello!

In the past months, i happened to meet people asking about the possibility to buy prints of my artworks; it was something i had in mind for a while also, but i couldn't find a satisfying service for this goal: I needed a printer offering a very good quality and that could print on demand for even little quantities, so that i would not be distracted from the purpose of this project which remains me painting, not me illustrating.

I believe illustration, or at least my illustration, aimed usually to convey a single story, whatever it may be, whereas the kind of paintings i do, it tries simply to put a mood -based on a fleeting view of a moment- on the service of the watcher, that he/she may walk with.

But i digress.

The point of this post is that i finally found a printmaker on demand that fulfills my needs in RedBubble.

It's an online art printmaker service with a easy to browse feeling and good standards.

There i've put available to be printed as cards and even on plates, some of my works that i have selected as suitable to the purpose.

Again, not all of my works will be there to be printed, or elsewhere. But if you look for a non financially challenging way to own some of my little images, that site may do for you. :)

This is a alla prima painting of the unknown, at least to me, bountains overlooking the Bilellese, close to Andrate.

Questo è un alla prima delle montagne che intorno Andrate guardano il Biellese, se si guarda dall'altra parte di quel punto, alle mie spalle in pratica, si vede una distesa pianeggiante la più ampia che si possa vdere da queste prealpi, quasi fino al mare, e per lo meno, ai pre- appennini liguri.
Alla base di queste montagne, scorre il fiume Elvo.

The neighborhood of Riva, Biella, as seen from the Gorgomoro trail.
When you exit from the long, pretty dark wooden area along the silent and little creek that is the Gorgomoro, you find yourself looking suddenly at the older part of the town, up on the hill, to your right and to your left, while in the middle, the two slopes open like a curtain to the plains that, starting from there, run to the lower Piemonte.
It's nice, but it is also crowded with storerooms and factories, that hid the creek in which the Gorgomoro ends, the Cervo, and cover part of the plain.
Instead, in this painting, is the old quarter of Biella, on the hill to the right while descending from the trail.

ANNOUNCEMENT to you who follow this diary.

First of all, thank you for your visits in the past months;

I decided, when i started this diary, that it should have been only a company to my other painting works; it was to be a study, and so far it was exactly that, and a time of my day i cherish a lot.

With this 50th painting, though, due to the many works i have to complete before the end of the year, i will have to put the series on hold, or at least to post less frequently.

This was and is the plan: while i work on a articulate and large job i have projected and detailed in a large stack of sketches in my studio since august, plus a recently added one, this blog will be quite resting.

After those works will be completed, and the workflow there will be easier on me, i will host those works in the blog / site i mentioned already in the AheadForDinci! description here on the right side of this page, and i will resume this diary, probably towards the end of the year, before if i'll can.

I wish i was able to work more, but being my concentration hours limited, this is it for now.
